Through Swell Hire we’ve seen so many of our lovely couples asking the same questions, struggling with the same challenges, stressed and not knowing tricks of the trade which would have made their lives so much easier…and we’ve decided you deserve soo much more than that!

Unless you come from a background of event management or project management, planning and DIY’ing your own wedding can be overwhelming. We’re firm believers though that with the right skills and knowledge you can DIY any part of your wedding!

I’m Tammy, Cofounder Swell Hire, Sagittarian, lover of sunshine, wine and Peaky Blinders reruns.

As a fellow member of the DIY bride club, I’m a firm believe that anyone can, and should be able to plan and DIY their own wedding if they’ve got the right tools, education and knowledge to do it!

I’m less about making you figure things out for yourself but sharing my skills in a “keeping it real” way so you can have the wedding you want without the drama of not knowing what to do or where to start!

A little bit more about how our education works…..

Wedding planners are perfect for those who’d like someone to handle the entire wedding planning process for them. We’re serve couples who want to learn skills that’ll set them up to DIY their own weddings.
We offer free 30-minute consultations. This is where we’ll work out workshop might be the best fit for you. For some people learning in a supportive group environment is great but for others, they might prefer a one-to-one learning environment. Our consult ensures we find the best workshop for you that meets your goals, expectations and topics covered.
Our individual workshops will be tailored specifically to your exact needs, knowledge, skill set and topic you want to cover.
Yes, all our resources and guides available for purchase are digital downloads.
Absolutely!! Our online workshops are all recorded so you have lifetime access to the skills learned. Specific workshops will have different resources which you’re able to keep as well.
Our topics are much broader than your usual education. We’ll cover everything from budgets and what to ask vendors through to how to make your own fun guest corsages. If there’s no scheduled workshop that meets your needs fill out our consultation form and we can make a 1:1 that works for you.
